Holden & Prescott are the Best Estate Agency in the UK - It's Official

Macclesfield based independent Estate Agents Holden and Prescott have been named as the Best Estate Agent in the whole of the UK by the Best Estate Agent Guide, beating over 25,000 other branches nationwide.

“These awards follow a rigorous and independent assessment and we are thrilled to have been recognised as the best in the country” said Partner, Martin Holden.  “It is down to the dedication and hard work of every single member of our team and the desire to deliver the best service we can to all of our clients” he added.

The BEAG awards, organized by Property Academy and supported by Rightmove, independently assessed the performance of all 15,000 estate agency brands nationwide, looking closely at 25,000 branches for sales and lettings to discover the agents that are the best in their field within marketing, results and customer service. Together with analysing all property listings on Rightmove, and mystery shopping, Property Academy has also surveyed 13,000 tenants, buyers, landlords and vendors, asking, what’s important to them when moving homes and what they expect from their estate agents. 

This year, due to the on-going pandemic and disruption to business across industries, BEAG Awards team have accessed estate agents at two different time periods – December 2019 to March 2020 and March to September 2020. 

“Every estate agent among the 5% of best estate agents have become even better at what they do during the pandemic,” said Peter Knight, the Founder of Property Academy during the virtual event.

Holden and Prescott was founded in 1998 by Martin Holden and Will Prescott. They have built up a successful team of dedicated individuals, some of whom have been with the company since its very early days. As an ‘owner-run’ firm, the partners have retained a hands-on approach to the business and over the full seven days there is always at least one partner in the branch.
